Rainbow functionality can be easily extended by adding in new modules. Other portal manufacturers call modules by the name "portlets", "widget", "digital dashboard component" or a similar term. The standard Rainbow installation includes 70 modules. Below is a list of additional Rainbow modules developed by friends of the Rainbow project.
