General Info
- Newsletters may contain any properly formatted HTM
- You should proably use an HTML editor like Microsoft FrontPage or a shareware/freeeware product to compose your newsletter, and then paste it into Rainbow.
- Some early version of Rainbow would only allow for small sections of text to be pasted into the edit control, so you may have to paste in pieces.
- You will only see 250 users at a time. The newsletter must be sent in multiple batches of 250 users.
- Only one email can be sent to users in a 24 hour period, so even if you press Send many times only users that have not received a newsletter in the latest 24 hours will be mailed.
- Invalid email addresses are automatically blacklisted.
To send a newsleter, f ollow these steps
- Add your HTML text
- Press the send/preview button
- The newsletter module sends a max of 250 emails at a time, so when you press send emails are sent to the first 250 users and 250 new users show up in the list
- Repeat pressing send until the visible list of users is empty
